Velocity results so far. Each shot is from a FULL 3000 psi fill. i just wanted to see what the MAX velocity would be for each slug. Will do a chrony string some other time. Gun shoots first 2 shots very accurately then throws the other 1 in there somewhere close. Will get the gun more consistant later. She is using a LOT of air per shot. But accurate enough non the less: 3000 psi fill for each 1 shot fired: 1 - .454" Hornady Round ball @ 141 grains: 780 FPS = 191 FPE (the dragon slayer 50 was 700 with 175 gr RB's for 190 FPE. Same power but flatter trajectory now with the 454) 1 - .454" Raptors by GL Barnes @ 220 grains: 660 FPS = 213 FPE (nice!! made it over 200 FPE) 1 - .452" Oregon Trail Hard Cast RN's @ 200 grains: 655 FPS = 191 FPE (these bullets are super accurate in my .45 acp handloads) 1 - .45" Thompson Center Maxi Hunters at 255 grains: 630 FPS = 225 FPE 1 - .4535" Raptors by GL Barnes @ 220 grains: 652 FPS = 208 FPE 1 - .457" Speer Round Balls @ 144 grains: 768 FPS = 189 FPE (gotta test these for accuracy against the .454" versions. written by: tofazfau
